Today I thought of preparing a creamy drink with ice cream and coffee: Caffe Frappe with vanilla ice cream, the perfect ingredient you need in moments of relaxation.

RECIPE PREPARATION Caffe Frappe with vanilla ice cream:

We will use a Breville espresso machine and a blender.

For starters, we will prepare an espresso. Put the sugar and the sugar in the glass, then mix them with a teaspoon. Now put the ice cream, milk and whipped cream in the blender and mix them for 45-60 seconds, until it gets the texture of a milkshake. Then pour it over the coffee with sugar. Finally, if you want, you can add whipped cream.


What is Dalgona Coffee or Dalgona Milk and where does it come from?

The name of this Dalgona coffee and the increased popularity is due to the South Korean actor Jung Il-woo who visited a place in Macau and drank this coffee which reminded him (in taste and aroma) of the dalgona desert or honeycomb toffee (honeycomb brick). It is prepared with burnt sugar (caramel) mixed with baking soda. Sometimes honey or glucose syrup, molasses, etc. are used. There is a very violent reaction that expands the caramel and after cooling hardens it and makes it crumbly (it breaks into pieces). It is popular in Asia but also in Europe and the United States (the English call it cinder toffee, the Scots know of puff candy, the Hungarians call it "Turkish honey" or törökméz etc). It seems that this combination of frothy ness rubbed with sugar and cold or hot milk has the aroma of dalgona. Ehee, how many rubbed necks we drank as students & # 8230 especially in the session! I was studying day and night, I was still working, I was broken so I drank coffee most of the day. I know it 's not healthy but then it was important to stay awake as long as possible

At that time I rubbed the ness with sugar directly into the cup using the back of the teaspoon. We hardly made a foam but we didn't stop stirring until the teaspoon stood alone & # 8230 so we said. Here we have about the same thing: a ness (instant coffee) rubbed so well with sugar and a little boiled water that it forms a delicious foam that floats on milk.

From the quantities below results a glass of approx. 450 ml with dalgona coffee but I made a triple portion. I chose the cold version (cafe frappe) with milk and ice cubes. This is because in Arad they are officially above 20 C and in the sun they pass well above 25 C. If you fast you can replace milk beef with a vegetable one (almond, coconut, soy, etc.).

Vanilla batter or my favorite drink on the heat outside. Every now and then when I go to town with my friends, I order a frappe, but this time I decided to prepare it at home. Moreover, I wanted to show you how easy it is to do. The best part is that we know exactly what we put in it and we can customize it to your liking. For a perfect vanilla frappe, we need first of all a good coffee. I chose instant coffee, but an instant espresso, good and with a strong aroma.

You can also use regular coffee, but you need to make it more concentrated because it will be diluted with milk and ice. For ice cream I used vanilla, but it works very well with coffee ice cream or even chocolate. Both go very well in this recipe. And you can choose the milk according to your preference. If you do not want to use animal milk, you can choose almond, soy or hazelnut milk. To sweeten this frappe with vanilla, you can use sugar, honey or other sweetener.

You can put more ice cream and it will sweeten it enough. It is still very easy to prepare vanilla frappe. Put all the ingredients in a blender, mix for 30 seconds and it's ready. Then put it in a tall glass, and if you prefer, decorate it on top with whipped cream and grate the chocolate. It also goes very well with a chocolate or caramel sauce, but I decided that there is enough sugar for my taste. You can also add a few caramelized nuts, a few almonds or a few chocolate coffee beans.

Enjoy this vanilla frappe immediately. It is refreshing, delicious and ready in a maximum of 2-3 minutes. You will definitely order it less often and you will make it more often at home. My family was in a frenzy, both my brother and my father were delighted with the result and it seems that it is better than the one they ordered in the city. HIT COFFEE

I got the chocolate sauce from 100 g of household chocolate together with 100 ml of whipped cream. Sugar if you want you can put to taste I did not put at all. Put the kettle on the fire and stir continuously until the chocolate is completely dissolved and incorporated. I put the obtained sauce in a jar and left it at room temperature to cool and solidify.

I dissolved the coffee in 50 ml of microwave heated milk for 20 seconds. Because I didn't have a shaker, I used the blender in which I put the remaining amount of cold milk, vanilla ice cream, sugar, ice cubes and the milk in which I dissolved the coffee. I mixed for 1 minute (maximum) and then I poured the mixture obtained into glasses. From these quantities come 3 glasses of café frappé as are the ones in the photos.
I decorated the frappé with whipped cream and sprinkled it with chocolate sauce.
Serve with straw. Absolutely delicious!

Frappé

Frappé coffee is a cold drink made from instant coffee. This drink originated in Greece where it became popular after World War II, when the idea of ​​going out for a coffee began to take shape. Caffee Frappe has crossed the borders of Greece and Cyprus, and is now one of the most popular drinks in the world.

The term frappé means ice cream in French, although the Greek equivalent makes you think of a fizzy drink. The drink managed to gain the status of a star in its country of origin, becoming a traditional drink, served with a glass of water.

To make a Caffé Frappé properly, you need a tall glass. The coffee is mixed with sugar and is stirred with a shaker or a manual mixer. The process takes one minute, the contents are then poured into a glass over which ice, cold water and milk are added. You can make several combinations of Caffé Frappe, some with flavors, syrups or ice cream.


Otherwise Frappe, with Chocolate Ice Cream

For cold chocolate cubes
Finely chop the chocolate and place it in a metal or heat-resistant bowl. Boil the milk with the water, sugar and stir to dissolve the sugar. Add the instant coffee and cocoa, dissolved in a little cold milk and bring, over medium heat, to the boil, stirring constantly. Set aside and immediately pour over the chopped chocolate.

Let it sit for 5 minutes and then mix well with a spatula until the chocolate dissolves completely and the mixture acquires a creamy appearance. Allow to cool, then pour into ice cube trays and place in the freezer until the next day to harden.

For vanilla milk
Boil the milk, sugar and vanilla bean seeds in a pot over medium heat and bring to the boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Refrigerate the milk overnight.

The drink is good to serve only the next day.
Put 3-4 ice cream cubes in glasses and pour the cold vanilla milk on top.
Let the chocolate begin to dissolve in the milk for 3-5 minutes and combine the flavors, then serve.


Caffe frappe vegan / Vegan ice coffee

Ingredients (2 servings):

  • 400ml almond milk
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 2 lgt instant coffee
  • 2 lg maple syrup
  • 1/4 lgt vanilla powder, cocoa, maple syrup for serving

Mix all the ingredients in a blender, taste and add maple syrup if needed. Pour the drink into nice glasses, decorate with coconut cream, cocoa powder and a little maple syrup. An absolute delight! :)

ENGLISH VERSION

After you have made a hard, strong coffee, then pour it into a glass of warm milk, just as much as you like. Add the foam and sprinkle cocoa or cinnamon on top to give more coffee flavor.
